atomicbooks:

To celebrate the bicentennial of the Star Spangled Banner and the end of the war of 1812, the Baltimore Office Office of Promotion of the Arts asked Benn to put together biographical comics of 5 historical figures. The idea was that these one-page comics histories would be blown up to 20 feet tall and positioned around Fort McHenry. Unfortunately, the weather on Saturday made the frames too unstable to display, so they didn’t go up. Mabye BOPA can find a place to display them soon - like maybe the Baltimore Book Festival. Meanwhile, here are the comics histories by Alex Fine, Jimmy Giegerich, Kate Haberer, Brian Ralph, and Noah Van Sciver.
